Balancely pricing, plans and billing

Balancely plans for TallyPrime compared: entries a month, companies, team logins and bill pages, with launch prices, GST invoices and how to change or cancel.

Updated 29 October 2026

Balancely has a Free plan and three paid plans: Business, Professional and Firm. Every plan posts every kind of entry; plans differ in how many entries you post, how many TallyPrime companies you connect, how many people sign in and how many bill pages are read. Payments go through Razorpay.

Before you start

  • Only the account owner can open Plan & billing, pay, and download invoices.

  • Your email address must be confirmed before you can pay.

  • Everyone on the team can open the Usage page.

The plans

Prices are launch prices before GST; 18% GST is added at checkout. Paying for a year at once costs ten months: two months free.

Launch prices and the price lock

Paid plans are sold at launch prices until 31 March 2027. Plan cards show the regular price struck through with Launch price · until 31 Mar 2027. After that date, new purchases are charged the regular price.

If you buy a paid plan before the offer ends, its launch price is locked for that plan and billing cycle. Every renewal is charged at the locked price, and the plan card says, for example, Your launch price of ₹349/month is locked.

When a locked price lapses
The lock holds while you have a paid plan and for 30 days after your last paid period ends. After that it lapses, and buying again costs the price of that day. A lock covers one plan on one cycle, so switching plan or between monthly and yearly after the offer ends uses the new choice’s current price.

Fair use on the Firm plan

Firm shows entries as Unlimited (fair use), with fair use at about 25,000 entries a month. Entries are never stopped on Firm. If you pass that level in a month, you get one notice and, unless you turned it off, one email, and our team gets in touch about a Custom plan.

What counts as an entry

CountsDoes not count
A voucher, ledger, stock item or other record saved in TallyPrime for youReports, lookups and searches
Each record saved from an Excel import, bank statement, GSTR check or billAn entry that fails, including when TallyPrime or the connector cannot be reached
Records posted by your other tools through an applicationConnection checks

Bill pages are counted separately, when the bills are uploaded for reading. Posting a read bill to TallyPrime then counts as an entry. Both counts start again at 5:30 am on the 1st of each month (India time).

What happens at the limit

  • At 80% and again at 100% of your monthly entries, you get a notice and, unless you turned it off, an email.

  • At the limit, new entries are refused with a message saying the monthly limit is reached. Nothing is charged automatically.

  • Reports, your data and your connections keep working.

  • Upgrading lets entries continue as soon as the new plan is active. Otherwise they resume at 5:30 am on the 1st (India time).

  • When bill pages run out, the bills page shows This month’s bill pages are used up.

See your usage

Plan & billing has a Usage this month card with the reset date. Each tile shows what is used, the limit and how many are left. A tile turns amber at 80% and red at 100%.

The Usage page shows Tally entries this month, Success rate, Failed and Month-end pace. If your pace will pass the limit, it warns you before the day it happens. Below are a chart of the last 7, 30 or 90 days, a Month by month view of six months, and an activity list you can download as a CSV file.

Choose a plan and pay

  1. 1

Open Plan & billing and scroll to Choose a plan.

  2. 2

    Choose Monthly or Yearly.

  3. 3

Choose Upgrade on the plan you want.

  4. 4

Leave Renew automatically on to be charged each cycle, or turn it off for one payment that ends after a month or a year.

  5. 5

Choose Pay and complete the payment in Razorpay’s window with UPI AutoPay, card or net banking.

The plan switches on within seconds, once Razorpay confirms the payment. Prices are before GST. 18% GST is added at checkout, and the pay button shows the total with GST.

Invoices with GST

  1. 1

Fill Billing details on Plan & billing: Company or legal name, GSTIN and Billing address. Your GSTIN prints on Balancely’s invoice, for claiming input tax credit.

  2. 2

Choose Save details. Every invoice you download from then on shows them, including invoices for earlier payments.

  3. 3

To download, choose View billing history, open a paid payment, then Download invoice or Download receipt.

Every payment on a plan that renews automatically, including the first, uses the invoice Razorpay issues; the button reads Razorpay invoice, and your Billing details are not printed on it. Payments made once use Balancely’s invoice, which carries your GSTIN. For an invoice with your GSTIN, turn Renew automatically off and pay once.

Upgrade, downgrade or cancel

Change plan

Choose Change plan (or scroll to Choose a plan), then Upgrade on a higher plan or Switch to on a lower one, and pay. The new plan is charged in full from the day you pay. The old plan stops at once, with no credit or refund for its unused days, and its automatic payment is cancelled so it never charges again. A lower plan is refused while the account holds more than it allows, such as more companies or applications; the message says what to remove first.

Cancel

Choose Cancel subscription on your plan card. Autopay stops at Razorpay right away and nothing more is charged. While the status is Active, you keep the plan until the paid period ends, then the account moves to Free. Choosing Switch to Free does the same.

If a renewal is due or has stopped, cancelling moves the account to Free at once. A plan paid once has nothing to cancel and ends on its own; choosing Switch to Free on it moves you to Free straight away and gives up the rest of the paid period.
