Do I have to open a port or get a static IP?
No. The connector makes an outbound connection to us, the same way your browser reaches a website. Nothing on your network is exposed and no firewall change is needed.
Which versions of TallyPrime does this work with?
TallyPrime 7.x, with connectivity switched on. In TallyPrime, open F1, then Connectivity, and set it to act as Both.
What happens if TallyPrime is closed when a workflow runs?
The step fails with a clear message in your automation tool, so you can run it again. Nothing is half-recorded.
Can I automate more than one company?
Yes. Each connection links to one company, and you can add several, on one computer or many. Each automation uses the connection you choose.
Do you store my accounting data?
We never keep a copy of your books. They stay in TallyPrime on your computer. We keep a short summary of each entry, for example voucher number, party and amount, in your history for your plan’s history period, TallyPrime’s reply for 48 hours so a retry never posts twice, and the details of an Accounts entry that failed for up to 14 days so you can fix and resend it. Those details are deleted as soon as the entry is saved.
Is there an extra charge for the connector?
No. Every connector is included in every plan, including the free one.
