The connector shows one line of status and never a log. Here is what each line means, in the order people meet them.
Waiting to pair
The connector is running and has a code, but no connection in the dashboard has claimed it yet. Open Connections, choose Connect TallyPrime, and type the code. Codes expire; the connector fetches a fresh one on its own.
Not connected
The computer cannot reach Balancely at all. This is almost always the internet connection on that machine, or a proxy that blocks long-lived connections. Try again fixes the first; the second needs the proxy told about us.
Needs attention: TallyPrime not open
We can reach the computer but not TallyPrime. Open TallyPrime, load the company, and make sure Connectivity is set to act as Both (F1 → Connectivity). The connector checks again on its own every few seconds.
Needs attention: the wrong company is open
TallyPrime is running, but the company loaded is not the one this connection was paired with. Load the right one, or - if the company has genuinely moved - pair again from the connection's page.
Connected
Everything is in place. The dashboard shows the same state on the connection, with when it was last checked. Automations run whether or not the connector's window is open; it only needs the computer on.
Where the same answer lives in the dashboard
Every connection has a Check connection button and a "How to fix" panel that names the failing step. The connector and the dashboard always agree, because they are reading the same check.
